Black Economic Empowerment

Excellerate is committed to the transformation of the South African business community and has solid black economic empowerment (BEE) credentials and strategies in place.

Excellerate’s BEE strategy rests on four pillars: BEE ownership; enterprise development; employment equity; and training and skills development.

Enterprise development

Excellerate’s strategic investment in Katanga X holdings and its subsidiaries has been a major support for the development of this new enterprise. Katanga X provides outsourced services and supplies trade product similar to that of Excellerate. Excellerate provides to Katanga skills development and capacity-building support. Our partner in this venture, Ikamva Labantu, is a black social responsibility organisation.

Employment equity

Excellerate is committed to the progression of previously disadvantaged South Africans within the ranks of the group and has implemented employment equity strategies in support of this objective.

Training and skills development

Training and skills development form an important part of the group’s human resources strategy and succession planning. Emphasis is placed on the training and development of previously disadvantaged South Africans.

Our culture

Our culture

A company’s culture is more than a set of words; it needs to be believed and lived by managers and employees alike, and needs to be felt by our customers, partners and other stakeholders.
